Krabi Getaway - Day 1.

Finally, I've time to transfer all the pics into laptop and started to blog about it. This post will be only talking about day 1.

As ya'll know that this is a getaway for our 3rd anniversary and we finally made it to overseas! Yay. Everything is kinda on budget and we booked our flight & hotel all total up to RM750 (exclude expenses), not very cheap but still consider ok for the year-end season.

Day 1 - KUL - KBV
715am flight! It was super early. He came and fetched me at 430am and we headed to LCCT. Ended up we were late for baggage check-in. Bummed. We planned to go in just like this, surprisingly all of our baggage are safe!

Meal that cost me RM18 on the plane cus I didn't pre-purchase it online. The nasi lemak actually tasted yummy!! And my must-have milo every morning. Hehe.

Arrived at the Krabi airport, we hopped on a shuttle bus brought us from the airport to our hotel. It only cost us RM15 per person! Glad that they didn't con tourists for airport transport fee.

Followed by checking into our hotel, Areetara Resort. The hotel was not bad for the price we paid, I would rate it 4/5. Our room is superior, we had 3 days breakfast included but too bad that we don't have a nice view, no overview of the pool. But other than that, everything was quite ok, not too fussy about hotel rooms.
Welcomed by this very cute little elephants that made out of towels! Sawadeekaaa.
Couple airport outfit hehe.

Settled down and we went to the nearby minimart to whip up some snacks as our 'lunch' and back to hotel, we KO-ed. Both of us were damn exhausted and decided to take a long ass nap.

Woke up and went for a dip in the hotel pool.
                    Super bare face!

At night, headed out to explore a bit! We kinda wanna have a better dinner to celebrate our belated 3rd anniversary dinner since we haven't really celebrate it together. It was so last min that I stumbled upon this seafood restaurant on foursquare and it has many positive comments therefore we decided to give it a try.

Kruathara Seafood Resaurant.
Both of us were mad hungry at that time, so we just order anything everything we want. 5 dishes, 4 bowl of rice, 3rd anni dinner, 2 person, 1 meal. We damn beast mood HAHA. Their x'mas decoration is also very nice, fairy lights!

A must Tomyam Kong.
Kangkung!
Soft-shell crab!
Half kg of crab!
Grilled squid with salted egg!

Overall, the dishes were pretty satisfying,  some is good but some is just ok. Bill came up to only RM110, it was dirt cheap! We were having a bet that cheapest will be around 180-200. Yay, 2 happy fatties!

Adventuruous tuktuk ride that gave us adrenaline rush! It was so windy and the weather there at night was damn cooling itself - 22 degree +/-

Strolled along Aonang night market.
..and this caught our eyes, hahaha.
We bought pancakes with banana & nutella every single night over there, so yummy! We actually tried each stall on different nights.

It was an early night for us!
So that was our first day! Stay tuned for the following day we went for island hopping! :D
