My dusty-pink / brownish tone series lipsticks

Hello, I did a video showing you guys the 7 dusty-pink / brownish tone lipsticks that I own. They are all affordably priced, RM30-45, easy to apply and long-lasting!

I really like these range of colours because it doesn't look shocking for daily use, it create a  casual yet natural look like you lips are born-to-be so ever pinkish. What I like about it is some of the lipsticks are matte, and for lipsticks like NYX or other that dry matte, I don't even need to touch up my lips. Overall, the colour doesn't look too harsh for daily yet sophisticated.

Play the video! I will list down every product down below :

1) Maybelline Velvet Mattr MAT12

2) NYX CANNES #19 (most fav!!)

3) NYX STOCKHOLM #02

4) NYX LONDON #04

5) EtudeHouse Rosy Tint Lips #TeaRose

6) NYX #565

7) Maybelline Totally Toffee #215

I hope you guys enjoy it!

SHANGHAI TRIP!

FLIGHT
Flew with Airasia X. RM1133/ per person. KLIA2 - Shanghai Pudong Airport
We bought our flight tickets on March while we travelled on September. Flight tickets included meals + 20kg baggage.

STAY
Airbnb RM430/ per person for 6D5N.
We travel in a budget way, therefore Airbnb's definitely our pick. My stay was only RM86 per night per person.
Our room is a small private room, hosts are friendly enough to provide us all sort of information, they are staying in the house with a very adorable cat.

My review : Overall it's very cozy, modern interior with a balcony view. It is also very near to metro station, just opposite to our apartment building.
My room's airbnb link : HERE

Downside : It is an old apartment, and the lifts are kinda worn out, especially when we arrived at midnight and it was kinda dark, but we were lucky enough that we met the friendliest girl who took the taxi with us and brought us to our airbnb.

Metro station near my airbnb.

VPN

It's China, they blocked Facebook, Instagram & snapchat, try connect to VPN by using betternet app. I used that throughout my days in SH and it works fine on me.

HOW TO PACK

It's the fall season during my visit in September, jacket / outerwear is a needed. Bring your umbrella. During my days, weather forecasted that it wouldn't rain but at last it still rains.

TRANSPORT
Shanghai Public Transport Card. It cost us 100yuan/ per card per personwith refundable 20yuan deposit inside.

Shanghai's metro is easy to access and affordable.
We take metro everyday, to everywhere, from SH Disneyland to airport. I strongly recommend you guys download this app - SH metro that has all the subways and metro lines written in Chinese or English. Furthermore, this app works without wifi. Other than that, they have taxi app like UBER and didi(德德) to bring you around.

APP

大众点评(dianping) is an app that is very useful when you're in China, something like OpenRice in HK. They have comments and reviews from customers. I will link down all the places I blogged about.

LET'S STARTS!

DAY 1 (13.9) : It's my birthday!
豫园 • 上海老城隍庙 • 南京路步行街 • 外滩 • 海底捞

First day out, we visited all the must-go spots in Shanghai.
Yuyuan Garden has the most amazing architecture that are full of history, definitely worth a visit. The place is always crowded so beware of your belongings. We tried the Nanxiang dumplings that claimed to be good, easy to spot, there's a queue outside but it was just a-ok for me, nothing fancy about it. I personally think that the normal roadside one are better than it lol.

We wander around the area and went to Nanjing Pedeterian Street next.

What to eat
Nan Xiang Dumpling House 南翔馒头店

Soup dumpling - 蟹黄灌汤包

Next,

Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street is a huge open space with all kind of shops and brands.
It has a whole building of Forever 21 and Innisfree, crazy.
Walk all the down, it will lead you to The Bund and also People Square. ( Follow the roadsigns will do.)
Basically, it is the centre point of all the famous hotspots. It is better to visit at night when all the lights lit up.

Night,

So much love for this city~

外滩

EVENING - LATE EVENING - NIGHT WHEN ALL LIGHTS UP.

My 24th birthday dinner,
We had our dinner at this very famous hotpot place which I've been wanted to try. Service : 100%, they literally treated customers like emperor I am not even kidding, all kinds of service that you could think of they will serve you. They even gave me a birthday surprise in the middle of eating. It was hilarious!
Nonetheless, it was a very special birthday dinner to remember.
Cold + hotpot = perfection.

DAY 3 (15.9) : 田子坊 • 新天地 • 复兴SOHO • LINE FRIEND'S CAFE & STORE • 人民广场

Third day in Shanghai, we decided to go to the side which has the charm of old, I am particularly excited for this day's visit because it is difference from the city centres.

We started our day by going to the first spot - TianZiFangThis place is an art district which form by alleys that enclaves with arts and crafts. Too bad we need a lil more luck for visiting because it was raining and sight-seeing went hard. Fall is all about rainy, gloomy weather, we couldn't really explore the whole sections. But personally I really like walking along these alleys.

田子坊

What to buy :
摩登红人
It is easily seen in TianZiFang, I remember they have a few of the same stores there. The store ambience is full of old shanghai 60s vibes. They sell lotions, handcream, and lipbalms with a reasonable price, definitely a place for buying souviner for friends and family, and they smell really gooooood! I am sucha sucker for their packaging hehe.

田子坊 TIANZIAFANG
Address : 泰康路210弄

What to eat :
小杨生煎
It is a type of Shanghainese dish, selling pan-fried dumplings with either pork, shrimp or vege inner ingredients. It's a local delicacy which is not bad to have a try~

SOHO复兴广场

This cafe is on our must-visit list since I planned for this Shanghai trip. We walked from XinTianDi to SOHO, took some time to find the store. Once we found, we saw a queue in front of the store and it was raining, then we joined the queue under the rain. Lollll. We queued for 15mins and finally got into it. Yay~

with signature big Brown!

人民广场

We went back to People Square at night and took a stroll. Although it was raining at that time, it was too beautiful with all lights are lit up.

DAY 4 (16.9) : 武康路 Farine Bakery • 武康路大楼

4th day, we decided to go to the French Concession, which is more of a transquil and nostagic side, definitely not as bustling as the city centre, more like a place that you would spend a quiet afternoon in a cafe with a book in your hand. Definitely loving this transition.

武康路

One of the cafes around the corner.

We had our tea time @ Farine Bakery. They are good for their croissants, so called 法式牛角包, with many flavours.
Apparently, they are very famous locally ( I found this bakery on weibo ), also a good spot for some Instagram-worthy pictures. This little space was so crowded when we visited, there's a queue even it was raining. I also met many of the locals, Japanese and Koreas there.
It is a place to have a good conversation over tea and croissants.

FARINE
Address :  武康路378号1楼(近泰安路)
Monday/Sunday: 7AM - 10PM

武康大楼Wukang Mansion or they called it Normandie Apartments. It is a protected historic apartment building which built by the French in 1924. This building has been the residence of many celebrities back in the time. With a strong french renaissance architecture, it is definitely worth a visit. It kinda looks like the Flatiron buidling in NewYork, no?

武康大楼 WUKANG MANSION
Address : 淮海中路1850号 ( 从FARINE再走个10mins )

Lastly, we made our second visit to The Bund, just becuse we have to. :)

DAY 5 (17.9) : 大悦城SKYRING • 陆家嘴 • 上海环球金融中心94th floor • BYE~

Last full day in Shanghai, we went to ride on a ferris wheel that we spot from our airbnb!
It is so tempting each and everytime we look at the view outside our window, so we asked our host about it. It is a ferris wheel located on the highest floor of the mall. At the meantime, they were having a collab with LINE FRIENDS, talk about coincidence.

Spot the tiny ferris wheel~

大悦城摩天轮
Address : 大悦城西藏北路166号(曲阜路)

Next,

陆家嘴LuJiaZui basically is another side of the HuangPu river, it is all about the concrete jungle, buidling over buidling.

Fot the best spot to be as near as you could ever touch the Shanghai Pearl Tower?
Please go to the upper link bridge @ IFC Mall!!

I promise it won't dissapoint you, somewhere not the usuals tourist will go. It is super close to the Shanghai Pearl Tower 上海东方明珠塔, barely just in front of your eyes, it's surreal. You will be amazed and definitely get a good shot with the tower without people photobomb-ing. Moreover,
It is FREE.

IFC MALL
Address : 8 Century Avenue, Lujiazui, Pudong New District, Shanghai, China.
Shanghai IFC Mall. ( Take metro to 陆家嘴 stop. )

The most left building - Shanghai World Financial Center

Next, we visited to the Shanghai World Financial Center 上海环球金融中心.
If you are still contemplating between going to the Shanghai the Pearl Tower or this, fret not, just pick this because it will definitely worth your penny.
The bird's-eye view is just simply A-MA-ZING.

As you may know the Shanghai World Finance Centre is a shape of a 'can opener'. 94th floor is the bottom of the 'opener'  and the 97th+100th floor is the upper part, the big gap between seperated the floors. We eventually picked the 94th floor only. This is the highest building that you can get a bird's-eye view of the whole Shanghai city. Best time to go is late evening till night, so you get to see both of the view from day to night, super worth it!

上海环球金融中心观光厅 Shanghai World Financial Center

Address : 世纪大道100号(近东泰路)
Entrance fee :
94th floor - 120yuan // 100floor + 97floor + 94floor - 180yuan

DAY 6 (18.9) : Shanghai Pudong Airport
Basically we spent the day at airport as our flight was at 1AM. Bid adious to Shanghai and our first ever time we explored a city.

Don't forget to share to your friends who are interested in going to Shanghai! :)

Would you recommend to visit to Shanghai?
Yes! If you LOVE cities and want to explore more!
Shanghai is the most populous city in China. I love seeing big concrete buildings. Travel to the city that u wished is always fun! As the saying goes, it is better to experience once than hearing from others.
